How to prepare

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a gentle simmer.
  2. Add 1-inch crushed ginger and 7–10 fresh tulsi leaves.
  3. Simmer 8–10 minutes until reduced by a third.
  4. Strain into a cup and stir in 1 tsp raw honey once warm (not hot).

Duration: 2–3 cups daily for up to 5 days.

Why this works

Ginger and tulsi are warming, mildly antimicrobial, and traditionally used together for upper respiratory comfort. Adding honey at the end preserves its soothing qualities.
