Aloe Vera & Tulsi Soothing Scalp Gel
A cooling leave-on gel for itchy, irritated, flaky scalps.
How to prepare
- Crush 8–10 fresh tulsi leaves with 1 tsp water to release the juice.
- Mix the strained juice into 3 tbsp fresh aloe vera gel.
- Part the hair and apply directly to the scalp with fingertips.
- Leave for 30–40 minutes, then rinse with a mild herbal shampoo.
Duration: 2 times a week for 4–6 weeks.
Why this works
Aloe vera deeply hydrates and calms an inflamed scalp, while tulsi is traditionally antimicrobial — together they soothe the itch-flake cycle without stripping the scalp.
Safety notes
Patch-test first
- Patch-test fresh aloe — some skins react to the yellow latex just under the leaf skin.
- Use only fresh, clean gel; refrigerate any leftover mix and use within 24 hours.
